We use the personal information that you give us to process your order and may occasionally notify you about new services and special offers. If you would rather not receive this information, please tell us. It is not our policy to sell, trade or rent your personal information to any other third party. We use the information we collect about you to help efficiently administer our business and the services we provide to you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We take privacy seriously and endeavour to be as open as possible in terms of how your information is used. If you wish to buy Katzecure products directly, we will need to know your name, telephone number, e-mail address (if you have one), and credit card details. We gather this information, either via the web site or over the telephone, to allow us, or our agents to process your order and to confirm details of the purchase with you directly.

Please note, however, that Katzecure Limited may be impelled by law to disclose personal information to any law enforcement authorities.


Web Efficiency and Fulfilment

 

We analyse website server log files. These files record such information as: the URL from which you entered a webpage, whether on our website or not; the URL of the page to which you go next, whether on our website or not; how long you remained on a page; and the search term, if any, used to locate the page.

We maintain a database. This database contains all the content of our site. The database also maintains a record of the items you select for your order. The database also stores the addresses of order recipients, so that we can fulfil your order.

In the unlikely event of an administrative error resulting in an incorrect price being displayed, we reserve the right to correct the price. In these circumstances, you will not be bound to continue with your purchase, and will be asked to email us to confirm that you wish to proceed.

We accept payment by cheque or cash only. Goods with a lead time greater than 30 days will be charged up to 7 days prior to despatch. When placing an order by any of these means, please remember to include a daytime contact telephone number in case of any query.

If it not possible to obtain full payment for the goods from your account on despatch of the goods to you, we can cancel the contract or suspend any further deliveries to you. This does not affect any of your other rights. Delivery costs are calculated for delivery to most parts of the United Kingdom mainland. If you are outside our normal delivery area, we will contact you with a revised delivery cost when we have received your order. You will have the option of proceeding with your order or cancelling at this time.


Delivery Schedule

 

We aim to offer an efficient and hassle-free service. We will normally deliver the goods ordered by you to the address that you specify on your order. It is important that this address is accurate and complete. In order to protect you from credit card fraud, we normally only supply goods to the registered address of the card holder, unless prior arrangement has been made for alternative address delivery.

Our charges for transport, packaging and insurance are included in the total price for the goods. Parcels require a signature upon delivery unless specifically waived, whereupon the parcels will no longer be covered by our insurance and the risk of damage or loss passes to you after dispatch.

If you have elected for your order to be dispatched to you without a fitting service, we will confirm to you via e-mail, telephone or letter when the goods have been dispatched. If you believe the delivery is severely overdue, e-mail us at sales@Katzecure.com and we will take appropriate action. Goods will normally be delivered by our own transport or by using a reputable carrier.

We aim to dispatch goods as soon as possible after your order is received. If the lead time is likely to be greater than 30 days we will advise you accordingly. In spite of all our efforts, there can sometimes be unforeseen delays. We cannot therefore guarantee delivery times or accept liability for late deliveries.

If dispatch is delayed for any reason, the delivery time will be extended and we will contact you. If you wish to cancel at this time you will, of course, be able to do so. You will only own the goods once they have been successfully delivered and when we have received cleared payment in full. Goods supplied are not for resale. We accept no liability if a delivery is delayed because you did not give us the correct payment details.


Installation

 

Installation services can be purchased from Katzecure or carried out by you or your own independent contractor and due to the nature of installation work exact arrival and completion times cannot be guaranteed. When undertaking your own installation, you are responsible for the standard and quality of installation and for any liability arising from this work.

When opting for Katzecure Installation services, garden fences must be accessible and clear of garden furniture and equipment before the fitter arrives unless arrangements are made with the fitter in advance. An additional charge may be made for any clearance work. Failure to clear an access area prior to installation may result in delays and/or the inability to carry out the work at the appointed time and Katzecure accept no liability for any such delays.

Please tell us and the fitter if your garden fencing is not of standard brick, wood or concrete construction, or if pipes/cables are fitted close to the fence panels. No liability can be accepted unless such hazards are brought to the fitter’s attention prior to the installation.

Katzecure Fitters undertake to carry out their work with reasonable care and skill but even with the greatest of care, some garden decorations may be marked or scuffed during the installation process. Newly treated wood panelling should be allowed to fully dry before installation, a minimum of a week is recommended.

Garden gates may need to be trimmed to allow adequate and even clearance. This is not part the installation work unless this has been specifically agreed. This is specialised carpentry work which flitters are unable to undertake. In the event that the doors do not have sufficient clearance the fitters may remove the doors to allow installation and leave the doors ready for you or your appointed carpenter to carry out the trimming.


Guarantee

 

The Katzecure products are made of natural materials and as a result an exact colour and texture matching between separate pieces, and especially between longer lengths, cannot be guaranteed. Pictures, descriptions and other information relating to the products are approximate and provided for guidance only.

We guarantee that goods will meet their specification and will be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery. In the unlikely case of a defective product, please contact us at support@katzecure.com. We can then advise you whether to return the goods to us or whether we will replace the defective part. We reserve the right to replace the defective part or the goods. As an alternative we reserve the right to refund your purchase price. If we ask you to return the goods please provide a full description of the fault and return the defective item in it's original packaging, with all warranty cards, instructions and accessories. Then send the package to the address provided.

For your protection we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service. If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or it is defective, we will normally refund your costs in returning it to us provided that you receive prior agreement with us in respect of the cost, prior to dispatch.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights. Should you feel dissatisfied in any way, please inform us as soon as possible and we will do all we can to put things right. You must check your goods carefully as soon as they are received and notify within 7 days if you have a complaint.


Improvement Policy

 

We operate a policy of continuous improvement, so changes to the goods may be made at any time. We will use reasonable commercial endeavours to keep the web site up to date but the information and specifications given are for your information only and are subject to change without notice. Pictures on the web site are generally accurate but variations in colour, shape and size must be expected.


Price of Goods

 

For orders made from the UK, 17.5% VAT is included in the price shown. If the price of the goods or delivery increases between the date we accept your order and the delivery date, we will inform you and ask you to confirm by e-mail that the new price is acceptable. If it is not acceptable then you will of course have the option of cancelling the order.


Cancellation

 

If you change your mind about anything you order, you can cancel the order up to 7 working days after the goods are delivered, providing the goods are returned in their original condition. To cancel an order, e-mail us at support@katzecure.com including details of the order you are cancelling.

Whilst we respect your right to change your mind, we would ask that you take good care of the products that you decide you do not want. We will advise you on what you have to do to return the goods to us.

Please note: You will be responsible for the costs of returning goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. If (after prior arrangement) we do not receive the item back from you with the delivery slip, we reserve the right to arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost. You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process, we will not be able to cancel any contract for services carried out by us ( for example, postage and packing, etc). We will refund the relevant part of the purchase price paid by you for the goods as soon as we can, which is normally no later than 30 days after the goods are returned.


Bespoke orders

 

Separate terms and conditions may apply to bespoke orders. When this is the case, such terms and conditions will be explicitly agreed between both parties before any order is accepted.


Legal

 

To the extent that any provision of these terms is found by any court or competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, provision will be deemed not to be a part of these terms, it will not affect the enforceability of the remainder of our terms and conditions of business nor will it affect the validity, lawfulness or enforceability of that provision in any other jurisdiction.

Our terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be resolved exclusively by the English Courts.
