Katzecure Limited will conduct all business in a responsible and ethical manner. We neither wish to defraud nor misrepresent our products or service, and neither do we wish to be defrauded or misrepresented. To achieve this we constantly monitor our products and services and when necessary make adjustments to improve performance or to comply with changes in statute. This is done with our best endeavours and intentions. Although extensive there may be issues not covered in our standard terms and conditions, here Katzecure and its directors will act responsibly, but their decision will be final.

All delivery times are estimates given in good faith and are not legally binding. Time is not of the essence of this contract of sale.

When the ‘Delivery only” option has been chosen, delivery is to the garden at the delivery address and not to “forward on” to another location.

This is a natural product and as a result an exact colour and texture matching between separate pieces, and especially between longer lengths, cannot be guaranteed.


Delivery and Installation

 

Installation services can be purchased from Katzecure or carried out by you or your own independent contractor and due to the nature of installation work exact arrival and completion times cannot be guaranteed. When undertaking your own installation, you are responsible for the standard and quality of installation and for any liability arising from this work.

When opting for Katzecure Installation services, garden fences must be accessible and clear of garden furniture and equipment before the fitter arrives unless arrangements are made with the fitter in advance. An additional charge may be made for any clearance work. Failure to clear an access area prior to installation may result in delays and/or the inability to carry out the work at the appointed time and Katzecure accept no liability for any such delays.

Please tell us and the fitter if your garden fencing is not of standard brick, wood or concrete construction, or if pipes/cables are fitted close to the fence panels. No liability can be accepted unless such hazards are brought to the fitter’s attention prior to the installation.

Katzecure Fitters undertake to carry out their work with reasonable care and skill but even with the greatest of care, some garden decorations may be marked or scuffed during the installation process. Newly treated wood panelling should be allowed to fully dry before installation, a minimum of a week is recommended.

Garden gates may need to be trimmed to allow adequate and even clearance. This is not part the installation work unless this has been specifically agreed. This is specialised carpentry work which fitters are unable to undertake. In the event that the gates do not have sufficient clearance the fitters may remove the gates to allow installation and leave the gates ready for you or your appointed carpenter to carry out the trimming.


Your Katzecure Components

 

Please ensure that the components received are the ones you ordered, the correct type and size, and that it is inspected for apparent faults by yourself or your fitter before installation commences. If, on inspection, you have any doubts please contact Katzecure immediately. In all cases genuine complaints will be dealt with in good faith.

The samples used by Katzecure are intended to give a general impression of the colour and pattern of the product. Katzecure poles are a soft, natural product and cracking in the grain will occur as a natural result of time and use. The sides of the pole will also appear a slightly different shade in colour to the ends and may change the apparent colour of the pole. Such shading is not a fault.


Cancellation and Refunds

 

If you change your mind about anything you order, you can cancel the order up to 7 working days after the goods are delivered, providing the goods are returned in their original condition. To cancel an order, write to us at the address overleaf or alternatively please click here to email us including details of the order you are cancelling and the reason why.

Whilst we respect your right to change your mind, we would ask that you take good care of the goods that you decide you do not want. We will advise you on what you have to do to return the goods.

Please note: You will be responsible for the costs of returning goods to us unless we delivered the goods to you in error or the goods are faulty. If we do not receive the goods back from you with the delivery slip, we reserve the right to arrange for collection of the goods from your residence at your cost. You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us ( for example, delivery costs and packing, etc). We will refund the relevant part of the purchase price paid by you for the goods as soon as we can, which is normally no later than 30 days after the goods are returned. If a refund is agreed it will be issued by Katzecure depending on the amount of the refund and/or the original payment method. Credit and debit card refunds can only be made to the card used at the time of purchase.

For your protection, you should use a recorded delivery service.
